Water, permits, a map that is actually current, and somebody who knows which fire roads are open this week.

Trailhead signboard and a dusty parking pullout on the 33, shot flat and wide in overcast. Chaparral, gravel, the Topatopa ridgeline behind. No people.
In season.Fire road closures run through the dry months and after any rain event. Ask before you drive up the 33.
A standard listing carries the same fields as a sponsored one. The difference is placement, not information: standard listings sit in the directory in order; sponsored listings sit first in their category and place, carry a photograph, and get a season note at the top of the page.
This sample shows the structure for a Do listing in the upper valley: the area field carries the highway and the side of town, the good-for tags are practical rather than descriptive, and the season note says what changes through the year.
